How Can We Be Saved?

Have you ever wanted to give your life to Christ but didn’t know where to begin? Let us walk you through some very important details, which will step you through the need for Christ and how to submit your life to Him.

LET’S GET STARTED:

We were created in the image and likeness of God. (GENESIS 1:26)

The Bible says God is love. (1 JOHN 4:8)

We were also born into a sinful nature from Adam and Eve.

Throughout your life, you will be urged in your spirit by the Holy Spirit to repent of your sins and come to Jesus. If you continually ignore those Holy Spirit urges throughout your life; eventually, the Bible says that you will grow cold (MATTHEW 24:12) and be handed over to A depraved mind. (ROMANS 1:28)

The Bible says we must choose this day whom we will serve. (JOSHUA 24:15)

The Bible says now is the time for salvation. (2 CORINTHIANS 6:2)

The Bible says no one is righteous, not even one. (ROMANS 3:10)

That all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (ROMANS 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (ROMANS 6:23)

The Bible says it is appointed unto man once to die, and then the judgment. (HEBREWS 9:27-28)

One day you will face Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior and hear Him say, Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the Kingdom I have prepared for you, which is Heaven…..OR…..

You will face Jesus as your Judge, and He will say depart from me, you worker of evil I never knew you (MATT. 7:23), and Hell will be your eternal destination.

You can get salvation today. Forgiveness of sins is but one decision away. See, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, from His Heavenly home to this wretched earth, fully God and fully man. Through His life, teachings, death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus Christ defeated death, He defeated the devil, and He nailed our sins to the Cross. Jesus Christ was battered and beaten and suffered an excruciating death for us. He did for us what we could not do.

The Bible says God made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that we might be the righteousness of God. (2 CORINTHIANS 5:21)

Jesus restored the right relationship with God the Father once more. The blood of Jesus covers our sins when we accept Him into our hearts. When God looks down from Heaven, he sees us white as snow, and all of our sins are cast into the grave of God’s forgetfulness!!! To receive that forgiveness of our sin, all we have to do is ask:

The Bible says if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (ROMANS 10:9)

For God so love the world He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (JOHN 3:16)

Jesus paid the penalty of our sin. We deserve death and eternal punishment. We must ask Jesus into our hearts and repent (turn from) of our sins. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me. (JOHN 14:6)

There is no other way but Jesus. You will never be complete without filling that God-shaped hole in your heart. You will spend your life trying to fill that hole with money, material things, relationships, drugs, alcohol, etc. Each of these sins might make you feel better for a time, but in the end, you will not feel happy or satisfied. You will be depressed and not know why. You will feel lost, unworthy, sad, and not know why.

It doesn’t have to be that way. You can give your life to Christ right now…today. This is a Heaven or Hell decision. You are not promised tomorrow.

PRAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS:

DEAR GOD, I KNOW THAT YOU LOVE ME, AND I KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO SAVE ME. JESUS, YOU DIED TO SAVE ME. YOU PROMISED TO SAVE ME IF I WOULD TRUST YOU. I DO TRUST YOU. BY FAITH, I RECEIVE YOU AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. FORGIVE MY SIN. CLEANSE ME. SAVE ME, LORD JESUS.

IF YOU PRAYED THAT, NOW PRAY THIS:

THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME. I RECEIVE IT BY FAITH LIKE A CHILD, AND THAT SETTLES IT. NOW BEGIN TO MAKE ME THE PERSON YOU WANT ME TO BE AND HELP ME, LORD JESUS, TO NEVER TO BE ASHAMED OF YOU. AND HELP ME TO MAKE IT PUBLIC. IN YOUR NAME, I PRAY. AMEN.

If you just prayed that prayer and gave your life to Christ, all of the heavenly hosts are rejoicing over your soul and your decision. Welcome into the family of God. Now, you will start a new journey, which will not be easy. You say, “so now what?” Good question. First, let us know about your new and exciting decision to follow Christ. We will send you some literature and help you start your Christian walk. You can join us for Bible study or join a church and graft into the body of Christ. You will need to learn how to pray to God, read and study the Bible, and as you learn, share with others.

This is a significant and wonderful day as you have made the best decision of your life. Your eternity is now secure in heaven one day, so let’s make a difference on this earth for the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
